If you caught the Ash vs. Evil Dead premiere on Starz on Saturday night, you're well aware that the Deadites have their work cut out for them. Ash (Bruce Campbell) is still a skilled decapitator, you don't want to mess with Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo), Pablo (Ray Santiago) knows a little something about dealing with evil entities thanks to his uncle, Amanda (Jill Marie Jones) is already one for one in Deadite battles and even after mere seconds of screen time, it's clear that Ruby (Lucy Lawless) has an agenda. But now what about Campbell, DeLorenzo, Santiago, Jones and Lawless themselves? If someone were to read from the Necronomicon right now, which Ash vs. Evil Dead cast member would they want to team up with to fight the Deadites?

Catch their answers in the video interview below and, in case you missed it, click here for my Ash vs. Evil Dead pilot review. I'll also be recapping the show throughout the season.  Ash vs. Evil Dead airs Saturday night on Starz at 9pm.

Here’s the official description of Ash vs. Evil Dead:

Bruce Campbell reprises his role as Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons – personal and literal. Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its “Evil” grip.

The cast is led by Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead, “Burn Notice”) in the role of Ash Williams; Lucy Lawless (“Salem,” “Spartacus”) as Ruby a mysterious figure who believes Ash is the cause of the Evil outbreaks; Ray Santiago (“Touch,”Meet the Fockers) as Pablo Simon Bolivar, an idealistic immigrant who becomes Ash’s loyal sidekick; Dana DeLorenzo (A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas) as Kelly Maxwell, a moody wild child trying to outrun her past; and Jill Marie Jones (“Sleepy Hollow”) as Amanda Fisher, a disgraced Michigan State Trooper set to find our anti-hero Ash and prove his responsibility in the grisly murder of her partner.
