A trailer has gone online for the vestibule thriller ATM.  The film centers on three friends (Josh Peck (The Wackness) , Alice Eve (She’s Out of My League), and Brian Geraghty (The Hurt Locker)) who make a routine trip at night to pick up some cash from an ATM vestibule, but become trapped when a murderous psychopath threatens to psychopathically murder them.  Screenwriter Chris Sparling was able to pull of the claustrophobic single-location thriller with Buried, but David Brooks‘ directorial debut looks unbelievably silly.  The premise comes off as kind of neat, but when I see it in motion, it just reminds me of that one episode of Friends where Chandler gets stuck in an ATM vestibule with a supermodel (oh, 90s).

Hit the jump to check out the trailer. ATM will be released on VOD and Digital Platforms (iTunes, Amazon Streaming, XBox ZUNE, PS3 Video Unlimited) on March 2nd before opening in theaters on April 6th.

“reminds me of that one episode of Friends where Chandler gets stuck in an ATM vestibule with a supermodel”

    Hahahahaha.

    How I miss Friends…

    Well…

    1. They just pretty much showed the whole film and even that was predictable.

    2. I can’t believe for three seconds that all 3 of them (They look to be in their 20-30′s) don’t have a cellphone in their pockets with one of them just leaving it in the car.

    Pass.

you can lock me up in an ATM with Alice Eve anytime…. : )

“oh you don’t need a bathing suit, underwear is fine….”

“it would be, if i were wearing any…..” : 0

That’s not an atm machine that’s an upper east side New York apartment that runs about $2500.00 a month. WTF!!
The so called sicko killer is about a quarter block away so that would have given them lots of time to haul a**. But when you have a low budget and a cast of no bodies then I figure you can’t put nuts on that sundae. Common sense would mean location shots that you can’t afford.
    I’ll pass on that crap!!!

So, this is Alice Eve. Now I know who she is and looking forward to seeing her in “THE RAVEN”.
Also, wondering who she will be playing in the new StarTrek movie – a young Carol Marcus perhaps? I could dig that pregnancy with Kirk’s son David at the end?

The moment I read “trapped in an ATM” I thought of that Friends episode. Then I read you did too. Made my day

So the killer has no gun (a tire iron), there’s three of them…he’s standing 100 meters away…why not make a run for it? or just fucking charge him? god, so stupid.

Captain Cabinet trapped in a cabinet will he get out, can he get out….no

Seriously? Their way of showing he’s a threat to them is by showing him “psychopathically murder” people outside of the ATM?

Absolutely terrible writing. This will not be getting my money, that’s for sure.
