Set Photos of Jackie Chan Training THE KUNG-FU KID

The first set photos are up for “Kung Fu Kid”, and I don’t see an Italian teenager from Recita anywhere in them.  I guess young Jaden Smith will suffice.  Click the jump to see if Jaden can master the crane, or if Jackie Chan will teach him how to do chores that do not apply to self-defense.

If there’s one thing I can’t get enough of these days it’s video game adaptations – because they’re all so incredibly amazing – and because everyone else in the world seems to share my feelings screenwriter Roger Avary and Samuel Hadida have signed on for a sequel to “Silent Hill,” the film adapted from the popular video game franchise in 2006.  I’ll continue to be not-so-silent after the jump.

Tim Burton and Disney Bring FRANKENWEENIE Back to Life With a Stop-Motion Adaptation of Burton’s Original Short Film

Tim Burton made a surprise appearance at the D23 Expo to display a 3-D teaser for his upcoming “Alice in Wonderland” feature, and announce his follow up project to be a stop-motion adaptation of “Frankenweenie,” one of the short films he made prior to his rookie feature-length directorial effort in “Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure.”  More weenie after the jump.

What kind of day would it be if there wasn’t a story about superheroes, or sequels?  Luckily, thanks to Peter Berg’s announcement that the core cast to his 2008 summer mega-hit “Hancock” has “agreed” to come back for a sequel we get to kill two birds with one stone.  Learn more of the tentative news about the super-sequel after the jump.
