Having just started production on their third season this last week, the producers and cast of Warner Bros’ Person of Interest took the time out of what is sure to be an action-packed season to present a panel at this year’s Comic Con.  The series is one of TV’s most watched dramas, but in light of the recent leak about the NSA project Prism, the title sequence’s opening line “You are being watched,” might have a completely new meaning this season.

Executive Producers Jonathan Nolan and Greg Plageman were joined by stars Jim Caviezel, Michael Emerson, Kevin Chapman, Sarah Shahi, and, along with the announcement that she is now also a series regular, Amy Acker.  During the panel they discussed how the leak of NSA’s Prism might affect the show, what it’s how the character’s motivations have changed since the first season, and what the future might have in store for The Machine.  Read more after the jump.

Possibly one of the most interesting characters to come out of History Channel’s new series Vikings is that of Lagertha, a Shieldmaiden played by the lovely Katheryn Winnick. Even though she is a mother of two, she goes and fights alongside her husband, Ragnar, and frankly might actually be more of a badass then he is.  The cast of Vikings stopped by WonderCon last Saturday to talk about what’s to come for the second half of season; battling in harsh weather conditions, the challenges her character faces in upcoming episodes, and the standing of women in the Viking society.  Hit the jump for the interview.

WonderCon 2012: ONCE UPON A TIME Panel Recap; Plus Highlights from Q&A with Creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz

Edward Kitsis Adam Horowitz Once Upon a Time slice

Fans of Once Upon A Time got a special treat at Wondercon Sunday when the creators, Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, stopped by for a panel and a early screening of episode 16 “Heart of Darkness.”  For those not caught up: Once Upon a Time is a show where the fairytale characters that we all know and love have been cursed by the Evil Queen to live in our world with no idea of who they really are. The story switches back and forth between the two worlds, with part of each episode taking place in “fairytale land” in the past with characters such and Snow White and Prince Charming, and the other half dealing with the lives of their counterparts in our world.  The story itself centers around Emma Swan, and outsider to the town of “Storybrooke,” who is brought to the town to save it by the son whom she had given up for adoption when he was a baby. And guess what, his adopted mother is the Mayor of Storybrooke, who also just happened to be the Evil Queen. Congratulations, you are now 10 minutes into the first episode.

With all the layers and facets to the story, it’s not hard to believe that the creators spent more then a little time working on Lost. To be honest, when I first heard of Once Upon A Time, I didn’t know what to expect. At first glance it looks to be rather light and campy, but as you delve deeper into the stories it proves itself to have a much more serious and darker tone as well. It’s very character driven in the same way Lost was, but the addition of telling the story in two entirely different worlds gives it a interesting depth and mode of exploration for the characters and who they are.  Before the panel I  sat down with Kitsis and Horowitz and discussed  some of what goes into writing the show and what we can expect from the rest of the season.  Hit the jump for more.

Tron Legacy Lightcycle Comic-Con viral event Flynns Arcade - slice.jpg

I knew this year’s Comic Con was going to do something awesome to promote ‘Tron Legacy’ coming out sometime in 2010 or 2011, but it’s been mostly speculation as to what it would be. Before the con and during the panel this morning they passed out Flynn’s Arcade tokens, so most bets were that they brought the arcade to comic con.

And they did! So after the jump you can see some images I shot from inside the event – which includes the new lightcycle!
