You may have forgotten, but Avengers: Age of Ultron—a film that was pored over, debated, and dissected every which way before anyone even saw it—actually hit theaters earlier this year. Yes, the full, actual movie was unveiled to the public at large! I mention this because it feels a bit odd that a film as anticipated as the Avengers sequel, which made over $1.4 billion worldwide, seems like it disappeared from the public consciousness before May was even over. It’s a shame too, because though flawed, Joss Whedon’s follow-up was a much stranger, more intimate film than its predecessor and it succeeded more often than it fell short.

Audiences will get another shot at revisiting the Marvel Studios pic next month when it hits Blu-ray and DVD, and in anticipation of that release a snippet of the film’s gag reel has been released online. With an ensemble cast this stacked it’s a disappointingly brief clip, but there are some definitely highlights to be mined, chief among which is Mark Ruffalo’s spot-on impression of Peter Falk as Columbo.

The idea of Ruffalo starring in a Columbo reboot started as a bit of a joke due to the actor's resemblance to the character, but Ruffalo himself told Steve that he’s a fan of the idea, so to see the actor playing around with a Peter Falk impression is quite a treat.
