New THE AVENGERS Posters Assemble into a Banner

On Monday, Marvel released six character posters for The Avengers.  Now, through the magic of Photoshop, Marvel has slightly re-arranged some of the characters and released a new banner for the movie.  Thor should probably keep his head up if he’s in the middle of a huge battle, but he’s also a Norse god so may be he can afford to take a little battle-snooze.

Hit the jump to check out the banner.  The film stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Cobie Smulders, and Samuel L. Jackson.  The Avengers opens in 3D on May 4th.
