In our continuing quest to ruin every major superhero movie for you, we have new videos from the set of Joss Whedon’s The Avengers after the jump.  Although, technically, we’re not the ones ruining it for you.  You’re ruining it for yourself if you click through when you know full well that what you’re watching could give away plot points of the movie.  If you’re super spoiler-phobic, stop touching the hot stove.

Hit the jump to check out the set video.  The film stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Cobie Smulders, and Samuel L. Jackson.  The Avengers opens in 3D on May 4, 2012.

    I just wanted to go on record as saying that I hate Captain america’s suit for the avengers. I personally liked the suit in the cap movie. I think mainly cause it was a practical suit, I dont think all heroes suits need to be skin tight. That being said I am very excited for this movie.

    If anyone was unsure of who one of the bad guys was going to be in this movie, than the first video answers that question. However, the second two videos, which were practically did the same, did nothing to excite me. It’s just people running and then regathering at the place that they were running from. Why would a group of people run away from something and then want to go back? Plus, we don’t see what it is they are running away from. To be honest, when this movie comes out, I won’t even remember seeing these set videos.

      I realized that as soon as I submitted my comment. I didn’t catch the “cut”. Nevertheless, I still can’t say that these videos were exciting.
