Yep, more new set photos have surfaced from The Avengers. Production on the Joss Whedon-directed flick has now moved from Cleveland to New York, and some passersby have snapped some photos of the construction of a set smack dab in the middle of Park Ave and 40th. If you don’t mind minor spoilers, hit the jump to check out the photos.
The film stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Cobie Smulders, and Samuel L. Jackson. The Avengers opens in 3D on May 4, 2012.

As you can see, it appears that a Quinjet will crash-land in New York City. The majority of the actual vehicle looks to be added in post-production, but some of the shell is visible, as is the destruction caused by its mishap.

Strong Enough…the Avengers Team flux’s throughout time & has founding members & then optional ones…kinda like reserve agents. The original team consisted of the Hulk, Iron Man, Wasp, Ant Man, & Thor. After that the check list went “bat shARt” crazy!!! I think that Cap got jumped into issue 4 or 5. Can’t remember when they thawed him out.
Luke Cage, Power-Man, Spider-Man, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Vision, & then the West Coast Avengers team came into play…& that was just a long long list of third teir characters that remain to obscure to list. I mean…I think even Moon Knight got tagged into the list also.

What I like the most is that they all look like their having a blast. Everyone seems to have checked their ego’s at the door.
Renner especially…& I know that pretty much everyone hates ole JR…but that guyz awesome.
On top of that…there is the Scarlett factor.
Okay…so I googled Moon Knight…& I couldnt find him connected to the Avengers…but I swear he was. He showed up on a S.H.I.E.L.D. roster…or actually the Egyptian Moon Knight did.
Anyone got a clue if he was actually an Avenger or not?

MAN, THIS MUST HAVE BEEN A FUN SHOOT FOR THE ACTORS! kind of like the Ocean movies. hopefully, it will be as fun as watching it.

MARVEL has got the casting right! esp. Hemsworth & Evans as Thor and Cap resp – of course not forgetting Downey as Stark/Iron Man – but I wish Scarlett had a better role than playing Black Widow – she would have been a fine Emma Frost in X-Men First Class but that is past – In Avengers – she would have been better as Scarlett Witch – in that neat red costume – she would be awesome.
I enjoyed all the movies! Especially Thor! Dammit, I can’t wait for Avengers. I hope they don’t ruin it or anything:) Please be in 3D
Looks like they’re maybe shooting a scene where Loki’s got Stellan Skarsgard possessed? Or maybe just promo shit cause they’re all confusingly mismatched, Tony’s got his briefcase with the suit in it, Loki and Thor are decked out in armor while everyone else just looks good. And if Loki does have Skarsgard possessed then Thors the only one suited up, that’d be one odd dinner party.
So when do they do a Hercules movie? He is an avenger as well!
