Filming is now underway in Atlanta on Edgar Wright’s Baby Driver. The film stars Ansel Elgort (The Fault in Our Stars) as Baby, a baby-faced, music-obsessed, quiet young man who works as the getaway driver for a rotating group of bank robbers and finds himself on the run from crime boss Doc (Kevin Spacey) when “a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom.” As we previously reported, the movie will also star Lily James, Jon Hamm, Jamie Foxx, and Eiza Gonzalez, and now Deadline has descriptions for the supporting cast.

James plays Baby’s innocent girlfriend Deborah; Hamm is Buddy, the handsome party animal; Gonzalez is Darling, Buddy’s lawless and scandalous girlfriend and partner in crime; and Foxx is Bats, the impulsive gun-slinging cohort. Buddy, Darling, and Bats are all in the employ of Doc, and presumably they’ll be the ones gunning for Baby.

Deadline also reports that Jon Bernthal is also on board to play the key role of Griff, but doesn’t offer any details beyond that. However, you don’t really need more details when you’ve got another great actor like Bernthal joining a cast as stellar as this one. The film’s release cannot get here soon enough.

Baby Driver is slated to open on March 17, 2017.
