Back to the Future took over the virtual and actual world yesterday with everyone from USA Today, to Pepsi, to the White House and NASA getting in on the fun. Fans remember that Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) tripped into the future in Back to the Future Part II and landed on October 21, 2015. McFly also famously took a trip on a hot-pink Mattel hoverboard, assisted by his very stylish (for 1989's version of 2015) Nike MAG. But while the film now takes place completely in our past, just yesterday Fox received a very special pair of those same shoes designed by Nike's Tinker Hatfield. (Not to be confused with the other Nikes he wore in the movie.)

Sneakerheads everywhere likely remember back in 2011 when Nike teamed up with Fox's Parkinson's research foundation to auction off a series of Nike MAGs that brought in $4.7 million for the charity. As evidenced by Fox's own social media accounts, he now has his very own pair of functioning Nike MAGs. The good news for fans is that they'll be able to get their hands on a pair starting in Spring 2016.
