As with many properties from the 80s, the Back to the Future franchise is an IP that has thus far failed to dwindle in popularity. In fact, it may even be more popular today than it was around the time the initial trilogy was released. You’d be hard pressed to go to any convention—or even shopping mall—without seeing something emblazoned with the DeLorean or some sort of Back to the Future reference.

Seeing as how Back to the Future is insanely popular, it was only a matter of time before the good folks at Mondo commissioned a poster for the franchise. They've released a few different pieces of Back to the Future art from artists like Laurent Durieux and Phantom City Creative, and now they’re ready to unveil yet another piece—though this one’s for the exceedingly entertaining sequel.

Matt Taylor’s Back to the Future Part II print takes to the skies and gives us a glimpse at 2015 Hill Valley, and it’s a refreshingly different take on the franchise. Yes the DeLorean is there, but I love the inclusion of the sky-set “Welcome” sign and the fact that you can just barely see the Hill Valley square down below.

The poster will be on sale tomorrow, April 2nd, at a random time in two different versions, including a glow-in-the-dark variant. As always, follow @MondoNews on Twitter for the on sale announcement.
