Batman: Arkham Knight will soon be upon us (I’m still on the fence about whether or not to pre-order it), but in the meantime, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Rocksteady Studios are bringing in the celebrity endorsements for a new trailer directed by Saturday Night Live’s Taran Killam.
In the video, we see Neil Patrick Harris, Wiz Khalifa, Blake Anderson, Minka Kelly, Kumail Nanjiani, Breckin Meyer, Joe Manganiello, iJustine, Troy Baker, and Kevin Conroy “Be the Batman”, although only one name on that list has actually been the goddamn Batman. But everyone else can play pretend and still enjoy what looks like a fun game, although is it good enough to warrant a purchase, especially if, like me, you’d have to get a next-gen system? How badly do I want to play a game that feels the need to cram in Riddler time trials for the Batmobile?
Check out the new Batman: Arkham Knight trailer below, and sound off in the comments if you think the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One is the better system and why. Batman: Arkham Knight will be released on those systems as well as PC on June 23rd.
Here’s the official synopsis:
Batman: Arkham Knight is based on DC Comics’ core Batman license and will be available on June 23, 2015 exclusively for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and Windows PC.
Batman: Arkham Knight brings the award-winning Batman: Arkham trilogy from Rocksteady Studios to its epic conclusion.
