The first look at Telltale Games new Batman adventure has been unveiled today with the release of the game's first trailer. It features a classically inspired yet refreshing look at Bruce Wayne and his masked alter ego as the title character walks the line between billionaire playboy and nighttime vigilante. The trailer itself makes time for Master Wayne's responsibilities in the political spotlight of Gotham City when it comes to backing power players like Harvey Dent, but it quickly becomes apparent that politics in Gotham are as dirty as ever once crime boss Carmine Falcone gets involved.

Batman: The Telltale Series will make its debut in front of a live audience during San Diego Comic-Con before rolling out its first of five episodes, titled "Realm of Shadows," Tuesday, August 2nd. The worldwide digital release will be available on many (if not all) of your preferred gaming and mobile platforms. On September 13th, a special Season Pass Disc, which includes all five episodes of the game's first season as they become available, can be purchased at North American retailers; European retailers will offer the Season Pass starting September 16th.

The award-winning cast of Batman: The Telltale Series includes Troy Baker in the role of Bruce Wayne, Travis Willingham as Harvey Dent, Erin Yvette as Vicki Vale, Enn Reitel as Alfred Pennyworth, Murphy Guyer as Lieutenant James Gordon, Richard McGonagle as Carmine Falcone, and Laura Bailey as Selina Kyle.
