Lois Lane is a key character, but Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice also has Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher).  How can she possibly make a mark with so many big name superheroes in play? While talking to Amy Adams for her upcoming release, Tim Burton’s Big Eyes, she explained that even though the boys are doing the “heavy lifting” in Batman v Superman, Lois is still very much in the mix because she’s the one acquiring information and putting the pieces together.  Hit the jump for more.

Here’s what Adams had to say when asked how Lois Lane will stand out amongst all of the other characters in the film:

“Lois is still sort of like the key to the information, you know?  She’s the girl going out and getting it and figuring it out and putting it together and all of that, so she’s very much involved, but I kind of leave the heavy lifting to the boys, you know?  So to speak.”

Clearly Lois will be putting those journalism skills to use, but what kind of information is she tracking down?  We don’t know for sure, but her next statement could hint at what she might be up to:

“They’re awesome together.  It’s kind of like this big fest of muscles … it was really kind of nice.  And then you add Jason Momoa and Gal Gadot and I felt very short and, yeah.”

There’s always the possibility that Adams felt short while she hung out with Momoa and Gadot casually, but if they do share scenes together perhaps Lois is the character responsible for finding other superheroes and bringing them all together. You can catch Adams talking Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in the clip below.  Be sure to keep an eye out for our full Big Eyes interview coming soon.
