A “new” IMAX trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has been released online, but in reality it’s just a shorter version of the Comic-Con trailer that went wide last week. The crux of the trailer is still the titular clash of superheroes, but this cut is much more explosive and aggressive in terms of pace, without the pauses and emotional beats of that Comic-Con footage. That doesn’t make it any worse, per se, it’s just a different way of looking at basically the same images.
You can watch the new trailer below. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens in traditional theaters and IMAX on March 25, 2016 and stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter, Scoot McNairy, and Jason Momoa.
