When you make a new Batman movie, you pretty much have to create a new version of the Batmobile. Christopher Nolan’s design for his Dark Knight Trilogy was different from everything we’d seen before and certainly set a high bar going forward, but for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, filmmaker Zack Snyder was certainly up to the challenge. Batman v Superman isn’t a Batman movie per se—it’s more of a Justice League prequel, really—but the picture is poised to not only introduce Ben Affleck’s iteration of the Caped Crusader, but also a new collection of gadgets and vehicles as well.

The Licensing Expo is getting underway today in Las Vegas, and just before the doors opened they allowed some members of the press inside to snap some photos of the promotion materials on the floor. One such item just happens to be the new Batmobile, and Steve was able to grab a number of high-resolution images of the intimidating car and also grab a fact sheet with more information on the vehicle.

This is our best look at the Batmobile yet, and as you can see it’s fully equipped for Snyder’s uneasy and treacherous world that his versions of the DC superheroes inhabit. Will Henry Cavill's Superman come under fire from this new Batmobile? And is it a match for Supes' heat vision? We'll find out soon enough.

Take a look at the official description and specs of the vehicle below, followed by images which you can click for high-resolution. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens in theaters on March 25, 2016. Click here to catch up on all of our coverage of the film thus far.
