Warner Bros. has released a new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice image online. In the image, we see some 9/11-esque imagery of a lone figure standing in a field of debris that signaled a once mighty tower. In this case, it’s Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) standing in the ruins of his Wayne Financial building, and it’s interesting that the financial institution in the Wayne Empire is in Metropolis as opposed to Gotham, which is where we traditionally see Wayne Industries.

All that being said, that’s not what Warners would like us to focus on. The image was tweeted out with the line, “They brought the war to us,” which again plays on the 9/11 imagery, but also lets us know there’s a battle brewing between Bats and Supes.

Check out the image below. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens March 25th and also stars Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Holly Hunter, and Laurence Fishburne.

Here’s the synopsis:

Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs.  And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
