There’s a lot going on in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Aside from the face-off between the two DC titans, the film will also introduce Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and Jason Momoa’s Aquaman before the two-parter Justice League. Plus, there’s some funny business going on with Michael Shannon’s return as General Zod. Is there something more to his character than the recovered remains let on? While we ponder this question, a new plot synopsis for the film has hit the web to reiterate that the story is very much about that first half of the title.

CBM discovered the new description from the website for Odeon Cinemas, one of the largest movie theater chains in the U.K. Attached to the site’s “About This Film” section of Batman v Superman is the following write-up:

At long last, see Batman and Superman square off against each other in 'Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice', an epic superhero showdown which will change both their lives forever.

Clark Kent doesn't trust Gotham's mysterious masked vigilante. Bruce Wayne doesn't trust the alien who nearly destroyed Metropolis. And Lex Luthor, who hates Superman more than anyone, is manipulating both of them for his own twisted ends.

Choose your side: the Man of Steel or the Dark Knight? Learn the answer to the age-old question - who would win? - in 'Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice’.

I can already see the future viral marketing campaign for the film, because it’s essentially the same thing Marvel is doing with Captain America: Civil War. (“Are you #TeamIronMan or #TeamCaptainAmerica?”) Granted, Warner Bros. announced Batman v Superman way before Disney even debuted the logo art for Civil War.

The summary also teases the enlarged role for Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor. We’ve already seen him in the trailers eyeing a chunk of Kryptonite, while his team unzips a bodybag covering Zod’s cold corpse. Then there’s those soldiers dressed in black military suits donning Superman’s insignia on their arms. Are they all somehow connected?

Batman v Superman is directed by Zack Snyder and also stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons, and more. The film will hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
