Back in February, we reported that Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson seemed a bit ambivalent about making an appearance in the upcoming movie of the same name. At the time, Anderson said:

“I haven’t turned it down completely yet. But I have turned down what they offered me. But we’ll see what happens…I haven’t even read the script. I have no idea what it’s about… ‘Baywatch’ was such a huge part of my life. And really they’re trying to do an homage and you know it’s an honor to have them to want me to be a part of it so bad.”

Now it looks like they’ve nailed down a commitment from Anderson with the actress officially on board to show up in the film. Baywatch star Dwayne Johnson made the announcement on via Instagram:

With David Hasselhoff already set to make a cameo, it looks like the movie will have the two biggest names from the original series. Hopefully, Seth Gordon’s movie will find a clever way to bring Hasselhoff and Anderson into the mix.

Baywatch opens May 19, 2017, and also stars Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario (San Andreas), Hannibal Buress (Neighbors) Ilfenesh Hadera (Billions), model Kelly Rohrbach, Priyanka Chopra (Quantico) and Jon Bass (Jane Wants a Boyfriend).
