I’ve got to give credit to whoever cut this behind the scenes video from director Darren Lynn Bousman’s “Mother’s Day”, as they’ve done an awesome job. Usually production blogs are boring and safe. Not this one. As you’ll see, this one has swearing, talk of serious violence, and some great editing. Whoever cut this must have drank a lot of red bull as it’s one minute of awesome. Take a look. You’ll agree with me.
And if you’re not familiar with “Mother’s Day”, Bousman’s remaking the 1980 Troma film of the same name and it revolves around a family of psychopaths, led by their equally villainous mother, back to the home in which they were raised to terrorize the new owners. The film stars Rebecca De Mornay, Briana Evigan, Alexa Vega, Deborah Ann Woll, Shawn Ashmore, Jaime King, and Lloyd Kaufman. Filming is still underway.
Did you enjoy watching the cast of The CW's 'The Flash' in all their wormhole-traveling, alternate-universe-creating hijinks, but wish there was more to see? Well then you should check out the first three seasons of 'Sliders' now streaming on Hulu.
While it's admirable to put yourself in harm's way in the defense of others, that altruism eventually ends with a blade between the ribs or being thrown into a prison cell. George R.R. Martin's gift to his characters just keeps on giving.
