It turns out Donald Glover isn’t the only actor spearheading a grassroots campaign to get on board a major film franchise. Sir Ben Kingsley came all the way from England, made a cup of tea, and grabbed his gun to film an audition video for Michael Bay. It seems the Oscar-winning actor wants to join John Malkovich, France McDormand, and Ken Jeong as a new castmember on Transformers 3. The silly clip is likely worth thirty seconds of your time, so check it out after the jump.

But you know what I'm really waiting for now? Michael Bay to just come out and take offense with this and badmouth Ben Kingsley thus showing how mature and above it all he is.
