We’ve got a couple of interesting casting stories to share this afternoon.  First up, add Ben Stiller to the long list of guest stars that will be appearing on the upcoming fourth season of Arrested DevelopmentEW reports that Stiller will reprise his role as magician Tony Wonder in one episode of the resurrected show on Netflix, but further details are unknown.  Though it was recently confirmed that this will be the one and only new season of the show, creator Mitch Hurwitz certainly does seem to have put together one hell of a run of episodes.  Other guest stars include Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Conan O’Brien, Isla Fisher, Andy Richter, John Slattery, and Terry Crews.  All 13 episodes will be released at the same time on Netflix in May.

Hit the jump to find out who will be playing the chief antagonist in the upcoming third season of American Horror Story.

Additionally, though we don’t yet know the setting or subtitle for the third season of Ryan Murphy's FX anthology series American Horror Story, TV Line reports that Kathy Bates is in talks to join the cast as the season’s primary baddie.  Bates will apparently be playing the best friend of Jessica Lange’s new character, who eventually turns into her enemy.  That’s an excellent bit of casting if you ask me, and I’m eager to see what kind of character the Oscar-winning Misery actress will be playing.

What we do know about American Horror Story season three is that it will take place in modern day, we will see different time periods and different cities, it will be “lighter” in tone than Asylum, and there will be a Romeo and Juliet-esque love element.  The currently confirmed cast for the new season includes Lily Rabe, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Taissa Farmiga, and Frances Conroy.
