As Benedict Cumberbatch prepares to launch his superheroic debut in Marvel's Doctor Strange in U.S. theaters on November 4th, he'll also be taking on another first, that of host for NBC's long-running sketch comedy show, Saturday Night Live. He'll handle hosting duties in the show's last episode before Election Day, so expect a lot of jabs at both his Sorcerer Supreme and some last-ditch shots at the U.S. Presidential candidates. Musical guest Solange Knowles will appear on the November 5th episode.

Cumberbatch follows up recent hosts Margot Robbie, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Emily Blunt, and Tom Hanks, whose new film Inferno opens October 28th. Hanks just wrapped his ninth time hosting the show and you can check out his skits alongside the core SNL cast below.
