Comedy Central Brings Zach Galifianakis’ BETWEEN TWO FERNS to TV on May 6th; Guests Will include Jon Stewart and Tina Fey

     April 23, 2012

It’s been far too longer since Zach Galifianakis graced us with a new episode of his Funny or Die web-series Between Two Ferns.  For those unfamiliar with Between Two Ferns, each episode has Galifianakis asking another celebrity strange and embarrassing questions on a Public Access-style set.  The show’s guests (who are in on the joke) have included Ben Stiller, Steve Carell, Jennifer Aniston, and Charlize Theron.  The last episode was in May 2011 when Galifianakis sat down with Will Ferrell, but now Between Two Ferns will return in a big way.

On the podcast “Comedy Bang Bang” [via Vulture] Scott Aukerman, who directed most of the Between Two Ferns episodes, announced that Comedy Central will air the one-off, half-hour episode Between Two Ferns: A Fairytale of New York before the Comedy Awards on May 6th.  The show will include guests such as Jon Stewart, Tina Fey, and Richard Branson.  Prepare for greatness by hitting the jump and watching a few of the best Between Two Ferns episodes.
