Fox Seachlight has released a new Black Swan featurette that focuses on director Darren Aronofsky and it’s loaded with behind the scenes footage and interviews with Natalie Portman, Vincent Cassel, Mila Kunis and Winona Ryder.
While everyone is talking about The King’s Speech and The Social Network as the best film of 2010, I think Black Swan should also be part of the discussion, as Aronofsky crafted a brilliant psychological thriller that has one of the best performances by an actor in years. I’m of course talking about Natalie Portman. If you haven’t yet seen Black Swan, I strongly suggest checking it out as soon as you can. Hit the jump for the new featurette:

black swan was alright at best. The direction was good but not darrens best. The real snub in the directors category is matt reves for let me in. That was a beautifully shot movie and the acadmey failed to realize that.
Mike , could not disagree with you more , but then again people like you are the reason why we have an audience for crap like Twilight
Let Me In =/= Twilight
black swan is a sumptuous film which delicately balances all of its themes between realism and fantasy. it works as a drama, a thriller, a horror film, a character study, and most of all is just a purely entertaining movie. that’s my opinion.
