First Trailer for BLENDED Starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore

     December 17, 2013

Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first trailer for director Frank Coraci’s (Click) upcoming romantic comedy Blended.  The film stars Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore as two single parents who, after vowing never to see each other following a disastrous blind date, end up booking the same African safari vacation and are forced to share a suite with each other’s families.  The film is very much in the vein of Sandler’s other recent string of comedies (it starts out with a pretty sick gross-out gag), but Sandler and Barrymore’s previous collaborations turned out pretty well with The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates, so hopefully Blended can follow more in their footsteps.  It also doesn’t hurt to add the very funny Terry Crews to the mix.

Hit the jump to watch the trailer.  The film also stars Wendi McLendon-Covey, Kevin Nealon, Bella Thorne, and Joel McHaleBlended opens on May 23rd.

Here’s the official synopsis for Blended:

After a disastrous blind date, single parents Lauren and Jim agree on only one thing: they never want to see each other again. But when they each sign up separately for a fabulous family vacation with their kids, they are all stuck sharing a suite at a luxurious African safari resort for a week in “Blended,” the third comedy collaboration between stars Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore.

oh yeah. this looks great. really, really, great.

      edgy taste-making commentary

next you should take tiger beat magazine to task

      • Ass_Kegels

OMG…you are so funny. That was sarcasm, in case your Michelob-soaked brain didn’t catch that. You and I both know you’re bored out of your mind in making Tiger Beat references. Why don’t you go to the nearest establishment that has a mechanical bull (which, in Texas, is probably the nearest church), then go home, masturbate to NASCAR and/or FOX News, and then cry yourself to sleep while staring at the George W. Bush poster you have taped above your bed.
Please spare the rest of the world your empty headed thoughts. Now go fuck yourself. That cow has had enough.

your comment is not funny, and i think you might be brain dead. but your name is epic, thank you.

      • Ass_Kegels

Awww…not funny? I’m so sorry you found no humor in it. In the future, if you don’t like a comment, just do what everyone else does. Go fuck your mother.

well, at least it looks better than Grown Ups

    • Alberto

It’s not that hard for a movie to slightly look better than Grown Ups

      • Alex

even twilight is better than Grown Ups

      • blehmehe

        no. just no.

      • Travis Gowen

Don’t try and sneak that in there.

  • Sawyer

Terry Crews cracks me up! XD

  • Chewbacca

Terry Crews, you don’t need anybody. Make movies and I’ll go see them.

    • The Flobbit

I’d like to see Terry Crews in one of those one man thrillers like Phone Booth or Buried. They’d probably be around 14 minutes long, though.

  • HeyRussell

I guess Sandler wanted to visit Africa on vacation. So he made a movie. How Vince Vaughn of him.

  • mattinacan

sandler is so, so bad. and he doesn’t have to be, he has made two great films in his terribly unfunny filmography, Punch Drunk Love, and Reign Over Me. His performance in Funny People and Spanglish were also pretty good. He is talented but wastes it, so sad.

  • The Flobbit

Adam Sandler must be found and stopped at all costs. All his films must be thrown in a large fiery pit, fed by the broken dreams of millions of fans, and topped off with a grand finale of Kevin James, David Spade, Rob Schneider, and Chris Rock.

    • lordjim

punch drunk love was great, and anger managment is a guilty pleasure of mine – there is no movie that couldn´t be saved by jack nicholson.

      • The Flobbit

You named 2 good movies in a host of crap. Yes he was good – Big Daddy, Happy Gilmore. What happened to him?

      • lordjim

probably really bad drugs, or some private tragedy, or we just don´t get his movies and future generations will hail them as masterpieces, who knows.

  • LEM

Don’t ya hate when you book the same African safari as people you don’t want to see?

  • Christian Leroux

It’s one thing when a film has to cram all the best bits into a trailer to sell you on it, it’s another when all of those bits aren’t funny.

You know what I’m not a Sandler snob who only loves Punch Drunk Love, he used to make very silly but very funny films, like Wedding SInger, Big Daddy and Waterboy.

But recently his movies have been laugh free and lazy. This looks horrid and this is coming from someone who loved Wedding Singer and 50 first Dates.

  • Painted Pagliacci Of Perfidy

He just looks so old and tired. I wonder if shame will ever force him to stop taking paycheck films.

In his defense, no one farted or got peed on in the actual trailer like for Grown Ups 2 so that’s something.

  • kemo

    Absolutely Dreadful!

  • bidi

when was the last time Adam Sandler made a movie that just took place in some random, boring city in the US? it’s always gotta be some paradise vacation nowadays. good for him, i guess.
