Netflix has unveiled the first full-length Bloodline trailer for its excellent-looking new drama series. The family-centric show comes from the creators of FX’s Damages and revolves around a contemporary American family who serve as pillars of their Florida community. Matters are complicated when the eldest son (Ben Mendelsohn) comes home for the 45th anniversary of his parents’ hotel and threatens to expose the family’s dark secrets and complicated past.

Kyle Chandler anchors the swell ensemble cast here, and it's worth noting that this is his first regular TV series role post-Friday Night Lights. He fielded a lot of offers when that critically acclaimed show ended its run so he didn’t choose Bloodline lightly (though he was first set to lead the Ridley Scott directed/produced The Vatican, but Showtime passed on the pilot).

This new trailer gives us our most thorough look at Bloodline yet, and everything from the Florida ambience to the intense character interplay makes this one of my most anticipated shows of the year. All 13 episodes of the first season will be released on Netflix on Friday, March 20th, and will also be available in 4K.

Watch the new Bloodline trailer below. The series also stars Linda Cardellini, Sam Shepard, Sissy Spacek, Norbert Leo Butz, Jamie McShane, Jacinda Barrett, and Enrique Murciano, with Chloe Sevigny, Steve Pasquale, Mia Kirshner, and Katie Finneran.
