Amazon’s Gold Box Deal of the Day is Peter Jackson‘s Lord of the Rings Extended Editions on Blu-ray for $49.49 (which is 59% off!).   I own this box set and can personally attest to how awesome it is.  If you’re a fan of the Lord of the Rings movies and don’t yet own the set, today is the day to pull the trigger.  Also, Amazon still has the complete first season of Game of Thrones on Blu-ray for just $34.99 (which is 56% off the regular $79.98 price) and the DVD is $29.99 (50% off).  The set gets released March 6.
