Bond 25 is fascinating in the way that we suddenly know a ton of details about it and yet, don't really know a whole lot about it at all. Danny Boyle was in, then he was out, and now it's the equally-hype Cary Joji Fukunaga handling directing duties. Phoebe-Waller Bridge took a pass at the script to jazz it up, as did Scott Z. Burns. As we reported, Rami Malek is playing the villain, and as we predicted, he had to be all weird about it. But what the title of the movie is—and whether it's a new title or, as rumored, Dr. No—is still under wraps which, in your classic Endgame scenario, seems to suggest it's a spoiler.

This latest confirmation, at least, is very exciting: An image from the set of cinematographer Linus Sandgren confirmed that Bond 25 will shoot in IMAX, a first for the 57-year franchise. As was reported last month by IndieWire, a good portion of the film will be filmed in Panavision but Sandgren and Fukunaga are saving the IMAX cameras for the action scenes. Anyone who's seen First Man—which wasn't a whole lot of people in theaters, but it's been six months!—knows Landgren can work some magic with IMAX.

Here's the official synopsis for Bond 25:

Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
