It’s been awhile since we checked in with our friends at NYC’s Bottleneck Gallery, and it appears that they’re still going strong:  the gallery’s latest show—a celebration of teamwork, genre films, and general awesomeness that they’re calling I Love You, Man—opens this Friday.  And based on the preview images they sent over this past weekend, it looks like they’ve got another solid showcase on their hands.  Wanna see what they’ve got on offer, and find out which print you can get only by being one of the first people into the show this Friday?  Meet me after the jump, folks.

Bottleneck Gallery—located in NYC, if you’re just joining this ongoing conversation—has brought us some of the most interesting, cleverly-themed shows of the past year, and this Friday they’re opening their latest.  I Love You, Man takes on “Bromance in pop culture”, and based on the preview images Bottleneck sent us earlier in the weekend, it’s another strong showing for the Gallery.  Plus, there’s a bunch of new artists (read: artists we haven’t featured here in Limited Paper before) involved with the show, and new blood is never a bad thing.  Here’s what the press release says:

We will have close to 70 artists taking on bromance in pop culture (previews below). The opening reception will be from 7pm-10pm and will be sponsored by Brooklyn Brewery and O-Live. We will be having our usual online preview sale, May 9th, starting from 8pm eastern to around 9pm. Gives you guys a chance to purchase something before the general online sale, Saturday, May 11th at 12pm.  A portion of all sales will be donated to the WWF. Since September, we have donated a little over $7,000 to various charities and that’s all thanks to you guys.

Seven thousand to charity?  Great googly-moogly, that’s a chunk of change.  Let’s all take a moment to tip our hats to the Bottleneck crew on that front.  And while we do that, here’s another surprise:  Bottleneck is currently selling an awesome Mario Brothers-themed print on their website, and—if you get there before next Monday, May 13th—you can pick one up now and have the entire cost of the print forwarded on to the WWF via Bottleneck (what’s more:  they’ll include the print in your tube if you purchase anything during I Love You, Man’s online sale this weekend). You can pick up the print here and take a look at it below:

  • All-Star by JP Valderrama
  • 13x19” giclee print
  • $25
  • Will be shipped with any online orders placed at Bottleneck over the weekend
