Brandon Routh and Martha MacIsaac Exploit TWILIGHT’s Menstruation Loophole for Comedy

It’s unnecessary to poke fun at Twilight and The Twilight Saga: New Moon because both films are funny (albeit unintentionally) enough on their own.  However, parody of these silly movies is always appreciated.  Earlier this week, Conan O’Brien had a very special message for parents as he warned them of some of the risqué behavior in New Moon.

Today, Brandon Routh (Superman Returns) and Martha MacIsaac (Superbad) have a goddamn hilarious send-up of an overlooked question of the Twilight series as well as other vampire-human romance stories: wouldn’t menstrual blood drive vampires insane?  And how could you keep your dumb romance alive if your vamp boyfriend literally wanted to kill you during your period?  The painfully hilarious answers to these questions are after the jump.

I’m sorry, but in what universe is this funny?

Cringeworthy and unwatchable are better descriptions of this sad effort. Pity – I was really looking forward; Twilight just begs to be mocked. And, while I really didn’t have much of an opinion on Brandon Routh’s acting abilities before, I’m beginning to see the point of view of people who say he has none…

This is disgusting. If Brandon Routh had even 1/10th of a brain cell as to human biology, he would understand the reason why it’s not the same and would not have created this insulting and repulsive drivel.

It makes me sick to think this guy actually played a superhero once. He obviously doesn’t have what it takes to be an iconic role model, let alone true acting talent. The best thing DC did was get rid of this loser.

Hahaha!! Are you fn serious??! He is an ACTOR. He plays different characters, it’s his job. LMAO! Some people confuse fiction with reality, apparently…

I think it’s quite funny and I fail to see how anyone could honestly find it offensive.

It _is_ blood, kids. Sorry if that kills the “romance” for you, but this is a question that’s been begging to be asked and answered for years!
