While AMC only just wrapped a truly great penultimate season of Mad Men, I’m already counting down the days until new episodes of Breaking Bad return to the airwaves. The network has released a new poster for the final eight episodes of Vince Gilligan’s stellar drama, and Bryan Cranston’s Walter White is seen carrying a very stern warning. There’s no telling what Gilligan and Co. have in store for viewers as they wind down Walter White’s story, but if the previous five years are any indication, we’re in for another round of intense, emotional, and surprising storytelling from one of the best shows on TV. August can’t get here fast enough.
Hit the jump to check out the poster. The final eight episodes of Breaking Bad will kick off on AMC Sunday, August 11th at 9/8c.
Plus, the new season will restore the original diner and feature music from Angelo Badalamenti.
