We at Collider are happy to exclusively debut a new clip from this Sunday’s episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which finds Super Troopers 2 star/director Jay Chandrasekhar playing himself in a guest starring role. Jake (Andy Samberg) and Charles (Joe Lo Truglio) are trying to find a way to sever their contracts with the cult-like Nutri-Boom pyramid scheme, and they set their sights on celebrity spokesman Jay Chandrasekhar as their way out. Things, uh, don’t go as planned.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine continues to be one of the best shows on television, and I’m sincerely hoping FOX makes the decision to renew it. The ensemble is terrific, the comedy is gold, and there’s a sweetness to its center that makes the show linger rather than something that’s completely disposable.

In addition to starring in Super Troopers, Beerfest, and guest roles on TV shows like Community and Speechless, Chandrasekhar is also an accomplished filmmaker in his own right. Indeed, he’s been directing far more than he’s been acting lately, helming 16 episodes of The Goldbergs, six episodes of New Girl, and a handful of episodes of shows ranging from Fresh Off the Boat to Royal Pains, so it’s nice to see him in front of the camera for once.

Check out the exclusive clip below. Brooklyn Nine-Nine airs Sundays at 8:30pm ET/PT on FOX.
