As Matt Damon explained in his interview with Collider, Clint Eastwood likes to hire the best people possible for his films.  Bryce Dallas Howard can now count herself as one of them.  Keeping in line with Howard's efforts to balance her career between blockbusters (Spiderman 3, Terminator  Salvation) and character dramas (Manderlay), Variety is reporting that she has just been cast oppposite Matt Damon in next winter's annual Clint Eastwood-movie, Hereafter.  From a script by Peter Morgan (Frost/Nixon,The Last King of Scotland), the film centers on a reluctant psychic (Damon) who is contacted by a French journalist and a drug-addicted English mother who are looking for closure from their disparate tragedies.  Filming has already begun and the film is expected to be released next December.
