"No Country for Old Men" does have some strong moments of dark humor, but I don't think anyone would qualify that film as a laugh-riot. But the first trailer for their new film "Burn After Reading" looks to be like a return to their earlier films like "The Big Lebowski" and "Fargo". While that's not necessarily a bad thing, I wonder if some folks will take it as a step backwards after the monumental acclaim "No Country" received.

You won't hear any complaints from me though regarding this new trailer. Well...maybe one: I don't know what role George Clooney and Tilda Swinton play in the film. I do know that the iTunes summary reads: "An ousted CIA official's (John Malkovich) memoir accidentally falls into the hands of two gym employees (Brad Pitt and Frances McDormand) intent on exploiting their find. George Clooney and Tilda Swinton also star.

You shouldn't really need a trailer to convince you to see this film as soon as humanely possible (if anyone wants to send me to the 2008 Venice International Film Festival where the film is premiering, I will not argue), but here it is anyway. Click here for HD.
