Dammit, Southland was good. This is why we can’t have nice things.

Burn Notice had a good run but they really failed to grow the show past the same plot every season of a new bad guy who is really really really the real bad guy until he is beaten and a new really real bad guy shows up.

I just hope they give it a proper send off.

No not Southland! It was probably the best cop show on television.

Burn Notice and Southland were both great shows, and I’ll definitely miss them when they’re gone. That being said, I feel like the writing on Southland has been kind of lacking recently so I’m not shocked it’s been cancelled. For the last few months I’ve been working nights at DISH so I haven’t been home to watch either show as they’ve aired. Thankfully I have both shows recorded and waiting for me on my DISH Hopper. Since I can record and store over 400 hours of content on the Hopper; I can keep the shows as long as I want without having to delete them to make space for my family’s favorite shows.
