The first trailer and poster for director Kyle Patrick Alvarez’s adaptation of the David Sedaris short story C.O.G. have been released online.  The autobiographical comedy stars Jonathan Groff (Glee) as a young man who plans a summer trip in the Northwest with his friend working on a farm, only to have his friend bail on him.  The pic looks to sufficiently capture Sedaris’ dry humor, and the talented Groff gets the chance to lead a film of his own.  The ensemble cast is impressive as well, and overall C.O.G. looks to be a pretty charming small-town story told through Sedaris’ unique point of view.

This autobiographical comedy is the first-ever screen adaptation of the work of acclaimed writer David Sedaris. Jonathan Groff (Glee) stars as David, a young man who plans a summer in the Northwest with his friend Jennifer (Troian Bellisario of Pretty Little Liars), working on a farm. But when Jennifer unexpectedly bails on him, David is left to dirty his hands alone and jump into a series of misadventures that will take him to unfamiliar - and hilariously uncomfortable - places.
