Though the premiere of the fourth season just happened this past Sunday, apparently the debut was impressive enough to warrant Showtime to renew Californication for a fifth season. In the series David Duchovny stars as Hank Moody, a struggling writer who constantly deals with the consequences of his inability to say “no” to drugs, sex and alcohol, while trying to show his family that he can be a good, responsible man.
