Last week saw the trailer premiere for Blue Caprice, the first feature for director Alexandre Moors and screenwriter Ronnie Porto. The thriller—led by Isaiah Washington and Tequan Richmond—opens September 13, but Moors and Porto have already lined up their next project, Cannibal.
According to THR, the story is described as “a surreal crime thriller set in the world of illegal organ trading.” Further details are scarce, but I am automatically interested in a movie about organ economics. 1984 Private Defense Contractors picked up the Cannibal pitch. Porto will write the script—Moors will direct.
