Summer 2015 is coming to a close and so is the production window on the biggest movies due to hit theaters in Summer 2016. A foursome of blockbuster films all wrapped on production within a few days of each other; each of these will now move into a post-production window before ramping up the marketing machine prior to release. Here's a glance at the movies that have finished shooting in order of their release dates, with more on the production from each below:

  • Captain America: Civil War - Anthony and Joe Russo's latest Marvel movie starring Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson, and Robert Downey Jr. among many others opens May 6, 2016.
  • X-Men: ApocalypseBryan Singer's apocalyptic epic starring Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, and Oscar Isaac opens May 27, 2016.
  • Independence Day: Resurgence - Roland Emmerich's much-anticipated alien invasion sequel starring Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Brent Spiner, Judd Hirsch and Liam Hemsworth opens June 24, 2016.
  • Suicide Squad David Ayer's anti-hero team-up starring Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Viola Davis, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, and Cara Delevingne opens August 5, 2016.

Take a look at some behind-the-scenes production stills and videos for each of the film's below.

Captain America: Civil War

As Access Hollywood reports, the cast and crew of the latest Marvel film kicked back at Leipzig's Imperrii Bar and Lounge after wrapping on production. This gathering looks about as entertaining as the one with all the war veterans in Avengers: Age of Ultron. (Those guys know how to party.)

Marvel co-president Louis D’Esposito also celebrated the end of production:

X-Men: Apocalypse Singer continues his social media onslaught with a pair of behind-the-scenes images from wrap day on his latest mutant movie. The good news is that fans should expect a new trailer in the next couple of months; the bad news is that Singer will probably keep posting to Instagram for the better part of the next year.

And if you want to make your own X-Men-themed drinks, here's a starter menu:

Suicide Squad As comicbook.com reported, Robbie and Courtney of Suicide Squad paid a visit to a six-year-old's charitable lemonade stand in Toronto after wrapping on production. Not only is there some "feel good" in the following video, but there are good behind-the-scenes shots from production as well. (Oh, and in case you were wondering, Henry Cavill's Superman will not appear in Suicide Squad, but he might show up in a sequel, according to Metro.)

Independence Day: Resurgence Emmerich himself celebrated his wrap day over Twitter, and EW shared an image of the cast assembled, presumably before the aliens attack:
