There's been a great deal of discussion online about how Marvel would depict Captain America in Captain America: The First Avenger.  As we all know, a costume in a comic book doesn't necessarily translate into a costume in a movie.  AICN has landed what appears to be pretty-damn-official-looking artwork of Chris Evans in his Captain America outfit.  I would check these out soon because if they are official, then Marvel's going to want them taken down ASAP.  Personally, I would say that with the exception of the helmet-mask, the costume looks pretty damn sweet.  It's also interesting to note that in one of the images, the costume has a holster.  Is Cap packin' heat in the movie?

For those who don't know, the film is being directed by Joe Johnston (The Wolfman) and co-stars Sebastian Stan (Gossip Girl) as sidekick Bucky Barnes, Haylee Atwell (The Duchess) as love-interest Peggy Carter, Tommy Lee Jones as possibly General Chester Phillips, Hugo Weaving as the villain Red Skull, and Toby Jones (W.) as fellow baddie Arnim Zola.
