Carla Gugino Takes a SUCKER PUNCH

“Watchmen” director Zack Snyder has added Carla Gugino to the cast of his next film, “Sucker Punch”.  The “balls out crazy” flick stars Emily Browning, Vanessa Hudgens, Jamie Chung, Jena Malone, and Abbie Cornish as girls confined to a mental institution who stumble on an alternate reality as they plan their escape.  Gugino joins the cast as Mrs. Schultz, an “adult figure in the institution.”  So unless she’s one of those good mental institution types, I’m betting Mrs. Schultz is up to no good.  Snyder will start shooting “Sucker Punch” in Vancouver this fall.
