First up from Heat Vision comes news that Riggs and Courtney will play the brothers in Mercy, the adaptation of Stephen King's short story, "Gramma." The story follows the brothers who accompany their mother (O'Connor) to go take care of their grandmother, who [spoiler] is actually a witch due to a pact she signed with the devil. Both actors have had big breaks while playing the son of a sheriff: Riggs on AMC's The Walking Dead and Courtney in J.J. Abrams' Super 8.

The Film Stage reports that Bassett will play Dr. Thaler in White Bird in a Blizzard, the currently-filming effort from Araki (Mysterious Skin). Basset mentioned via her Facebook page that she'll be in a scene opposite Sidibe. Meloni will play the male lead with Woodley in the starring role of a young woman who becomes distressed after her mother disappears. Indelicato will play a high school outcast. Bassett can next be seen in Olympus Has Fallen

Via Variety, Jean-Baptiste will star in All You Need Is Kill as scientist Dr. Whittle. Production is currently underway in London on the picture that centers on a soldier (Cruise) who relives the last day of his life over and over while combating an alien menace. Look for the picture on March 14, 2014. Jean-Baptiste is also starring in the currently-filming RoboCop reboot.
