Here’s the synopsis for White House Down:

Capitol Policeman John Cale (Channing Tatum) has just been denied his dream job with the Secret Service of protecting President James Sawyer (Jamie Foxx). Not wanting to let down his little girl with the news, he takes her on a tour of the White House, when the complex is overtaken by a heavily armed paramilitary group. Now, with the nation’s government falling into chaos and time running out, it’s up to Cale to save the president, his daughter, and the country.

Surely I’m not alone in thinking that Chan-Tat’s perfect for the inevitable Rocky remake. Stallone plays mentor, Pacquiao does a walk-on. Chan-Tat screws Kate Mara or Olivia Wilde or something, somewhere in between. Final fight against The Rock. Rocky vs. the Rock! Chan-Tat loses but gains the meaning of humility. Stallone later takes down the evil Rock in an alley. Everybody wins.

I hope that they never do a remake of Rocky or Rambo in my lifetime. Those movies are just held too dearly to my heart.

Also, a remake with Stallone as Mickey reminds me of Rocky V, the weakest in the series.
