A new behind-the-scenes image of Channing Tatum on the set of White House Down has appeared online, courtesy of director Roland Emmerich. The story follows a rejected Secret Service applicant (Tatum) who must save the President (Jamie Foxx) when a heavily-armed paramilitary group takes over the White House. While you may have gotten a taste of what the movie has in store in the first trailer, make sure to come back next week when a new trailer drops.
The film also stars Maggie Gyllenhaal, James Woods, Richard Jenkins, Jason Clarke, Jake Weber, Lance Reddick and Joey King. White House Down opens on June 28th, 2013. Hit the jump to check out the new image.

Capitol Policeman John Cale (Channing Tatum) has just been denied his dream job with the Secret Service of protecting President James Sawyer (Jamie Foxx). Not wanting to let down his little girl with the news, he takes her on a tour of the White House, when the complex is overtaken by a heavily armed paramilitary group. Now, with the nation’s government falling into chaos and time running out, it’s up to Cale to save the president, his daughter, and the country.
