With Prometheus opening this weekend, 20th Century Fox held a massive press junket in London last week where I was able to interview most of the cast and director Ridley Scott.  Here's my print interviews with Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce, Michael Fassbender and Scott if you missed them.  For more on the film, here's four clips and five minutes of behind-the-scenes footage. In addition to the print interviews, I also spoke to everyone on camera and everyday this week I'll post a new interview.  Up first: Charlize Theron and Guy Pearce.  During the interview they talked about how the finished film compared to what they thought going in, deleted scenes, the amazing production design by Arthur Max, and more.  Hit the jump to watch.prometheus-cast-imageFinally, I'm happy to report that Prometheus was great.  Unlike most Hollywood movies that get watered down for mainstream acceptance, Prometheus is the type of big budget sci-fi that studios rarely make.  I definitely recommend seeing it in a theater.  Also, the 3D is fantastic.  Here's today's interview.Charlize Theron and Guy Pearce

  • Do they ever take a step back and think about who they were when they first started out and realize how far they've come
  • How did the finished film compare to what they thought it was going to be
  • Do they remember any of the deleted scenes. Both had scenes that were either shortened or deleted
  • What was it like walking onto the ship and working with such incredible sets by production designer Arthur Max
