In 2011, Mad Max: Fury Road’s standout star Charlize Theron featured in director Jason Reitman’s Young Adult, written by Diablo Cody. Now the trio are planning another team-up with a still-untitled film with the broad descriptor of “motherhood.” Though, their past work is enough to entice me.

Deadline reported the news of the Young Adult reunion. Their first film together, which was nominated for a Golden Globe, saw Theron as a divorced fiction writer returning to her hometown in Minnesota to rekindle a relationship with her now-married and paternal ex-boyfriend. Since then, Reitman has debuted Labor Day with Kate Winslet and Men, Women & Children with Adam Sandler, while Cody recently wrote Ricki and the Flash starring Meryl Streep. Theron co-starred with Tom Hardy in George Miller’s latest Mad Max film, which swept the technical categories at the Oscars and earned nominations for Best Picture and Best Director.

In other casting news, Domhnall Gleeson, who reprises his Force Awakens role of General Hux in Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: Episode VIII, has landed a role opposite SNL alum Will Forte in A Futile and Stupid Gesture. David Wain (Wet Hot American Summer) directs the film about the tragic story of National Lampoon co-founder Doug Kenney for Netflix. According to THR, Gleeson will play Henry Beard, who, along with Kenney and Robert Hoffman, founded the famous humor magazine. Kenney died mysteriously, falling off a cliff in Hawaii, after his issues with drugs and alcohol.

Elsewhere, Warner Bros. formally announced the casting of Dave Bautista in Blade Runner 2 on Monday which was accompanied by a special video message from the actor. “Blade Runner 2! Yes,” he said, after teasing fans this weekend with an image of that infamous origami unicorn. “I’m very excited about this project and very grateful that I was able to bring this news to you myself.”
