Chris Evans and Columbus Short Video Interview THE LOSERS - Wonder Con 2010.jpg

At this weekend’s WonderCon in San Francisco, I was able to speak with Chris Evans and Columbus Short on the Warner Bros. red carpet, as they were both attending the convention to promote The Losers.  Since I did a set visit last year for The Losers, they both remembered me and unlike some red carpet interviews that can be dry and serious, the interview you’re about to watch features a lot of laughter and jokes.

Also, while I REALLY wanted to ask Chris Evans a lot of The First Avenger: Captain America questions, I was asked to keep the focus of the interview on The Losers. Also, I’m sure Evans has been asked by Marvel not to say anything…so I decided to play nice.  Sort of.  Watch time index 3:43.  You’ll see what I mean.

Chris Evans and Columbus Short

  • Watch our awkward beginning – why isn’t Chris wearing a Patriots hat.
  • Puerto Rico talk – are they happy to not be there anymore
  • Have they seen the film yet and what do they think about it
  • Can they watch themselves on film
  • They start laughing a lot due to a joke from Columbus Short…
  • We talk about the editing process and how their performance is really on the director
  • 3:43 – I tell Chris how I’m happy he got the part of Captain America
  • 4:25 – Scott Pilgrim vs. The World talk

The Losers is gonna be the worst action driven ensemble mercenary character movies this year. 1.A-Team
    2.Expendables
    3. The Losers

I got to see a test screening of Scott Pilgrim last night and i have to say i was very impressed. Had an awesome style and Chris Evans played a relatively small but fantastic part.

I thought the losers was freaking genius. It was quirky, funny, and didn't take itself too seriously. Yes the plot was nonsense, but plots always are in these types of movies. When I saw 'The Losers' the audience was laughing hysterically the entire time, and it contains one of the best comedy scenes ever (if you've seen it you know which one I'm talking about)! Chris Evans is brilliant in this movie, and I think it has been highly underrated.
