A trio of actors have joined Walter Hill’s untitled adaptation of the graphic novel Bullet to the Head. Variety reports that Christian Slater, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Lost) and Holt McCallany (TV’s Lights Out) will star alongside Sylvester Stallone in the action-thriller formerly referred to as Headshot. Stallone plays a New Orleans hit man who allies himself with a Gotham cop in order to take down the killers of their respective partners. The report confirms that Sung Kang will be playing the Gotham cop, a role that Thomas Jane was initially hired to play before he was subsequently fired from the project. If you missed our interview with Jane, he candidly explains what went down behind the scenes.Akinnuoye-Agbaje is set as the main villain (putting those Jason Momoa rumors to rest), with Slater taking on the role of a local handler who acts as a middleman, while McCallany will portray Kang’s dirty cop partner. Production is set to begin soon.
