I totally lost track of this but man that December start date for James Bond 24 is coming up quick. As a fan of Skyfall, I'm stoked that Sam Mendes is coming back, since that marked the first time in a long time that Mendes had made a film with any replay value for me.  The last we'd heard on this project Lea Seydoux (Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol) had signed on to play the "femme fatale" with Dave Bautista in place to play a henchman character in the vein of the iconic "Jaws." But there was still no one to really fill out the "mastermind" role.

Now it appears as though Christoph Waltz will be in the film as well (having just fallen out of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales).  While this is still technically a rumor, it comes from a source who is often right about these matters.  And the smart speculation would have him playing an adversary to Daniel Craig's Bond.  Hit the jump for more on Christoph Waltz in James Bond 24. The film also stars Ralph FiennesBen Whishaw and Naomie Harris  and will open on November 6, 2015.

I'm generally a fan of Waltz and I think this would provide him with a great chance to chew some scenery, which is always a treat.  Those are some great locations to boot.  It blows my mind a little that this film will be out in less than a year, which doesn't seem to be leaving a lot of time for post-production.  I know we're not talking about Star Wars or anything here but I get the feeling some folks will be feeling rather hurried come mid-October.  Hopefully we'll get a full title soon, it's a bummer to just keep calling this thing James Bond 24.
