Cloud Atlas is one of my favorite movies this year, and I will continue to tell everyone that they should see it even though it’s not an easy film. It’s an important film in terms of how it breaks the boundaries of cinema and challenges the audience to cast aside preconceived notions of how genres and narratives have to work. And while it’s a challenging film, it’s still wrapped in an emotionally powerful story with rich characters and performances at the center. Click here for my full review from TIFF.
So I’m excited to announce that we will be giving away 10 pairs of passes to the Atlanta screening of Cloud Atlas. Hit the jump to find out how you can see the film early, for free, and see a truly unique piece of cinema. Cloud Atlas opens nationwide on October 26th.
To enter for a chance to win a pair of passes, send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. The screening is on October 23rd at 7:30pm, so don’t enter if you don’t think you’ll be available. Please note that a pass is not a ticket. To guarantee a seat, please arrive at the theater early since seating is first come, first serve. I hope to see you there!

And here’s the official synopsis:
“Cloud Atlas” explores how the actions and consequences of individual lives impact one another throughout the past, the present and the future. Action, mystery and romance weave dramatically through the story as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero and a single act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution in the distant future.
